BetterFill fuel additive - PINT - available in a 6pk
1) The product should not be left in direct sunlight. If a tank sits in the sun on a hot summer day there could be a chance for pressure buildup of evaporated distillates due to the high temperature reached. For this reason we require that tanks either be underground, shaded or painted white.
2) Either existing or provided pressure tanks can be used, provided that the tank or container pressure is sufficient at all times to prevent vapor or gas release to the atmosphere. This means that the tote or tank must have an airtight seal and that if the tank is fitted with a pressure release valve it must be able to withstand sufficiently high pressure to prevent losses except in an emergency situations /typically 2.5 psi).
Compatibility with Materials
BetterFill is completely compatible with all common hydrocarbon based fuels.
BetterFill has completed a suite of ASTM no harm tests with it added to diesel fuel and gasoline in many labs all around the world. No significant negative effects were found.
